GALA and Proper Hijinx Productions are excited to announce that 20% of the proceeds from their upcoming show, Made of Honor, will support GALA's Ally Committee!
Made of Honor is a one woman dark comedy in which we find the maid of honor locked in a closet the day of the wedding. She has hidden herself from the chaos of holy matrimony. Was it the pressure of an ugly dress that got to her? The arrangement of center pieces? Guests showing up with uninvited dates? Nothing as terrible as that- the lovely couple just forgot to reveal a crucial piece of information to the arriving guests - and they aren't handling the surprise well. Our fearless (well, sort of fearless) MOH has been given the responsibility of damage control, ensuring everyone keeps peace until the couple makes it down the aisle. But as she drinks away her stress with bottles of wine stolen from the reception- we have to ask: are weddings really worth it?
